There bonds were set at $10,000 each. The arrests resulted from the burglary of a residence on HWY 4 East. Both have been released on bond.

"Both of the above arrested stemmed from tips from individuals or the actual property owners. It is important that credit be given where credit is due. It is so much easier when we investigate a case, when we have people that are willing to come forward and get involved. It also pays to have good neighbors who watch out for their fellow neighbor."

The fifth and six arrest came on July 17th. Dalton Wayne (Andy) Franks age 22 of Booneville and Steven Jeffery Morgan age 20 of Booneville were arrested Burglarized a building, a business on CR 1111 and stole copper wire and a box of wiring harness. Their bonds were set at $10,000. Morgan is free on bond and Franks remains in jail.

We have had a rash of copper and scrap metal thefts. We ask the public to be observant and report any suspicious activity.
